So it has now officially been a full week and a half since I saw Nas at the 2008 Rock the Bells tour at the recently renamed Comcast Center (gag me), but I still am walking around with Sly Fox stuck in my head. Partly it is, yes, because of the redemption of having a multi-platinum selling artist articulate your message into a viral video sensation. It’s also partly because I have always loved Nas, and I feel like he’s had a real breakthrough with this album that’s kind of amazing to watch. But mostly it’s because it’s a great song with an important message and it’s also bad ass that he said the line “Comcast digital Satan” at the Comcast Center.
